I'll know in a couple hours if the above worked.
I checked it to replicate all other user settings. I did just notice under the settings connection tab>outlook anywhere>enable proxy settings> 'on fast networks, connect using http first, then connect using tcp/ip' was unchecked. The user comes in the next day and says it asks for a password for almost everything they do. I personally tested the account for 8 hours myself sending test emails every 15 minutes with no password prompts.
The only thing linked to the account is the actual users mailbox on the exchange server. I removed all of the users archives today in an attempt to rule them out. It's a bit reminiscent of your PST comment.Īnd just to throw it out there, Outlook isn't just the signal fire showing that the account is being repeatedly locked somewhere else, right? It was trying to connect to that person's item instead of the actual user and getting permission denied issues. I've also seen this when someone does something that switches context while in someone else's session (again, SharePoint is a perfect example). I've seen this when Outlook is connected to something else, like a SharePoint list, that it no longer has permissions to (or thinks it doesn't have it).
